AIPCinema Awards took place for the first time in Porto with the support of Filmaporto

The awards ceremony of the AIP – Associação de Imagem Cinema e Televisão Portuguesa (Portuguese Society of Cinematographers) took place for the first time in Porto, on the 25th of March, with the support of Filmaporto — film commission.

The AIPCinema Awards annually highlight the best works in cinematography. “Terra Nova” won in the category of Best Feature Film (Luís Branquinho) and “The Football Player” was awarded in the category of Best Short Film (João de Botelho).

Abi Feijó was distinguished with the Portuguese Society of Cinematographer’s Award– Um Segundo Films. AIP also paid tribute to Francisco Vidinha (Honorary Member – Arri Award), Abel Ribeiro Chaves (Professional Merit Award) and Manuel Vide (Fernando Costa – Cinemate Award).
